Friday started with me waking up somewhere I had no idea of, obviously this means the night before was a good one? Yep! After getting a taxi back in to Andover I popped home for (not even lying) a power nap and got ready for the Jody Has A Hitlist gig... I was so excited for the gig, and the support acts where amazing! After I argued with a certain person, who then disappeared leaving JHAH with no idea where they were going, I got given the awesome task of making sure they got where they needed to go- a 'certain persons' house. So I took them there and we partied til the early hours of the morning until Ian, Rosie, Nicole, Ben, Franny, Drew & I were the last ones left and ended up just crashing...

Keeping this blog upbeat...
...is becoming more and more difficult with every post! However, this weekend - up until Sunday - was one of the best I've had in a blooming long time.

Tonight Matthew I am the Batman - POLAR
This band, POLAR, are playing at my local (The George) Saturday night, and stoked is an absolute understatement of how I'm feeling towards it. The entirety of the staff are freakin out cause they think the band'll cause some sort of trouble in the pub, and if it's not bolted to the floor its being taken out of the pub- they're expecting it to be absolutely paaaaaaacked. HOPEFULLY it will be hahaa

Crispystock 2011
This year was Crispystocks 5th anniversary, my 3rd year attending and my 1st year feeling like part of the furniture. Crispystock is an annual music event that takes place in The Lights- Andover in memory of 'Crispy' who died several years ago... all money raised goes to charity.
This years line up was not the best I've seen.. Where were In Darklight, Sondura and Sion? Fuck, the first year I went Plastic Toys were headlining! But my two favourite local bands played- and they played brilliantly.. In On The Chase and Within Her Depth did Andovers music scene proud!
Not to mention all of the other bands that played.. I had a brilliant day chillin with wilkie + Stigger and Ben who were running the acoustic stage, it was great to see so many faces I knew all in one place when usually I'd have to run all over town to see the. My family from The George were obviously there, as were South Street almost in its entirety, along with a few people I hadn't seen for months, and a few people I've seen every day for months. It was a weird mix of people but I still had a great day.
The afterparty at the George was a great few hours aswell.. When Stigger, Ben & I arrived the place was already fit to burst with people, including a few people from college out celebrating Savs 18th birthday.. the night was a bit of a blur which included spilling Fosters all of my sisters school bag-which i borrowed + getting it all in my shoes because Sav is toooo clumsy for her own good. It also included some drunk hairdressed playing air guitar for about 3 songs bouncing around on a sofa until he fell off to a great round of applause.

neglecting the internet.
The last two/three weeks have no been my best, to be honest they've probably been the worst few weeks I've had in a very long time. Lewis & I split up and I've gone a little bit 'weird' since, in the sence that I'm partying + gigging more, drinking + smoking more & ultimately sleeping about an hour a night and just generally being a dick to most of the people around me. I know that's the worst way to deal with it, but it's not like anyone actually cares, right?
This weekend was scary. Stigger invited me to go and see Sondura and Orestea at Joiners in Southampton. So Keegan drove me, Stig + Adam there in his tour van thingy- I got waaay to drunk and basically I nearly passed out behind joiners. God bless Stigger for paying out what he did for me to get home. I literally just want to cry when I think about last night. That photooo up there is probably taken in the last 10 seconds I could stand. I need to stop drinking so much, I'm actually really scared after last night hahaa.
Last night was hilarious.. when I eventually sobered up and ate something/could walk again/wasn't high, Rosie, Nicole and Charlie came and picked me up in Charlies Landrover we ended up having a lovely pizza party in an industrial estate with a tonne of people I barely know. One of them wants to take me to the cinema actually :o hahaa fun times. But yeah these guys are stars and have been brilliant + there for me when I've been so self destructive over the last few weeks. Love dem.
